This artwork explores the unending clash between fact and fiction, science and faith—a divide that defines much of modern society.
Truth, once revealed, has a weight that cannot be ignored. The piece features Darwin’s work crushing the Bible, symbolising the growing polarisation between believers and skeptics, forcing individuals to take sides. Yet, must one side always dominate the other? Can faith and science coexist, or is their conflict an inevitable struggle?
While facts shape reality and belief shapes meaning, Under Pressure questions whether we are bound to pick a side—or if there is a way to accept both without surrendering to division.
