"Starman" examines the near-religious adoration of technology leaders like Steve Jobs and Elon Musk. In an era where traditional spiritual beliefs are fading for many, society increasingly turns to figures who promise innovation, progress, and a future shaped by technology.

This artwork draws a parallel between the ancient Book of Job—which questions suffering, faith, and divine purpose—and the modern Book of Jobs, where the visionary CEO replaces the prophet, and technology replaces scripture. Just as Job sought meaning through trials, today’s society looks to tech founders for guidance, expecting them to solve our biggest existential problems.

But have these innovators become false messiahs? Do we place too much faith in the hands of billionaires, trusting them to shape our world in ways we do not question? And in worshiping their visions, do we risk losing sight of our own humanity?
